I might be mistaken but in SH2 the torpedo timer stopwatch counted down from a marker to zero, as opposed to counting upwards from zero and getting to a marker at the estimated time of impact, as it is in SH3.

My point is that, in the old version, when attacking a convoy, you could target the furthest contact, launch a torpedo and then taget the next contact. When the red marker from your first torpedo reached the black marker for your second torpedo you fired it and targeted the next closest contact and so on.... in this way you could have a full complement of torpedos impacting at exactly the same time, giving you both a delightfully massive array of explosions and ample time to escape the scene of your destruction.

Is there any simple way to do this in SH3?

No, I think there is not a simple way to do it. I think in SHIII this is just as difficult as it was in RL. And that's the way it have to be, IMHO. Thumbs Up
