Grey Wolves Bearing Overlay 3000 & 1500 mts

Hello everyone, i used this Mod from Pato a long time ago, and
since then it as been forgoten for a time now, since i do consider one of the best released tool Mods untill today i've decided to
remake it for the GW Mod...

I will release the 2 versions, One for 3000 Meters, and another for 1500 Meters...

This Mod will not overwrite any of your previous files except on some Submarine Tga files...

Currentky i'm working on the 1500 meters one and will make some tests to see if there is any errors or bugs...

Release it's calculated to be amoung this night and tomorrow morning, depending on what hapends with testings...

SO BE READY FOR IT SOON

GWBO 3000&1500 mts Mod

Hello SH III Players, This is the original Mod created by
Pato, The Bearing Overlay tool , provides you a greater
and enchanced calculation tool for your aproach and
enemy localisation on your navigation Map...

For me it was the best tool ever created to help the
Kalleuns in the navigation and targeting calculations...

INSTALL

Just drop the GW_Beraing Overlay 3000mts or
GW_Beraing Overlay 1500mts Mod Folder into
JSGME Mod enabler and activat the Mod...

Atention Credits on the original Bearing tool go to Pato...

That cool

One thing I really am very dependant on is the nomograph,

I love using it for my plotting and it helps me pass the time because I also use it ,

Any chance Wink

me too.
That is one really useful tool - it makes plotting courses of target ships much quicker as you don't need to use the angle measurement tool anymore.

Good thing to revive this little gem, jcwolf!

Well bro i've got an Ati Radeon 9200 bro and tested this 2 mods before and detected no problem, but that was exactely why i add the 1500 mts also, in case someone could need it...! Thumbs Up

I take it this is a change you should only make in port? I tried adding the 3000m one (after a SH3 Commander rollback, of course) while out on patrol, and saw no change on my nav map screen. Are you supposed to do something in game to "activate" this, or should it just be there if the install worked? Or, since I'm using a Radeon card (X800XL) is it maybe just not working for that reason?

I missed this mod way back when and have been wishing there was something to make the bearing circle show up at higher (lower?) nav map zoom levels (which I assume is what this mod deos - is that correct?) Would really love to get it working - any suggestions?

Both versions are only visible at 2500 zoom, so to be sure you've got it right, just zoom on the navigation map until 2500 mts and it will apear, also i'm using SH3 Comander and installed mid patrol and it worked fine... Thumbs Up

With the Radeon card i understand there was some kind of isues with the 3000 mts bearing tool but i've got a Radeon 9200 XT and it works fine, if it doesn't for you install the 1500 meters Bearing , thats why i add both versions... Thumbs Up

Also after install and enter the game be sure to zoom as i said it before cause it is only visible when the map scale on the bothom left is at 2500 mts... Thumbs Up
