Hi all.
Can anyone point where I'm going wrong here. I got all six rars of GW and unrared into a temp folder. Used JSGME to install the mod into SH3 and all seems to have gone fine. However, no harbour traffic Sad So I'm guessing if thats not working then other stuff in the mod won't either .

I've tried this on a clean install and patched SH3, and also tried entering a career at several different timelines/ports, still no go. I'm a might confused but as install of the mod seems to have been ok I can't see what I'm doing wrong Confused

For what it's worth when I used the Improved U-Boat mod and others all went fine....*scratches head*

Any and all help much appreciated

Best regards

Fubar

Mi guess is bro that what hapend to you is exactelly what hapend to a lot of us...

When you merge each part into a single file to make this way the complete GW mod, you've got to pay atention to all contents inside each part you've downloaded, cause most of the times there are
one folder i think that containes an optional mods folder that you've got to chose and install after the GW mod enabeling...

Mi Advise:

Uninstall again the mod, and repeat slowlly an with atention on the folder from each part bro, explore the contents of each one and merge them to their respective places inside the complete GW folder you've created... Thumbs Up

@jcwolf , thanks for the quick reply. I checked my GW dir and have moved the extra mods dir out, however its still not working Sad .

Take a peek at my GW folder listed below and see if this ties up with how yours looks please.

<DIR> .
<DIR> ..
<DIR> Air
<DIR> Campaigns
<DIR> Cfg
<DIR> Crew
<DIR> Emblems
<DIR> Env
<DIR> Interior
<DIR> Land
<DIR> Library
<DIR> Markings
<DIR> Menu
<DIR> Misc
<DIR> Movies
<DIR> Objects
<DIR> Roster
362,873 scene.dat
<DIR> Sea
<DIR> Sound
<DIR> Submarine
<DIR> Terrain
<DIR> Textures
49,258 Zones.cfg

Many thanks.

Best regards

Fubar

P.S I've used both winrar and 7Z to unzip the files and in both cases many empty dirs seem to be replicated no matter wether exact path extraction is used or not. To resolve this I extracted each file seperatly and then copy pasted each dir into a GW dir. Hope this makes sense Smile

Doing that as we speak, not real sure what I'm looking for tho. I thought any extra mods would have been in that GW Documentation and Extra Mods dir, which I've already moved out.

OK now I definately know somethings wrong, no Greywolves splash screen on loading. Didn't even realise there was one Laughing Just found the .tga files in menu and opened them using photoshop, voila something I should be getting is not happening Sad
Something is definately screwed. Problem is now how to correct it.

JC do you use JSGME to en/disable mods?.. I'm wondering if this is might be the problem.

Best regards
