I'm based in Lorient and when I go to depart the games always drops back to real time. So it can take up to 15 minutes at flank speed to get out of the harbour before I can time compress...... very annoying
Anybody got any ideas? |

If you have SH Commander installed then you can edit the max time compression settings to whatever you want when your near land.
Its like that for a reason though, make sure you dont ram a battleship. |

you see I only get this time compression when being based in Lorient. Nothing like this occurs in St. Nazaire or Brest which is strange.
But I'll try out what you suggested.

It's surprisingly simple - near Lorient you're almost constantly in "LandProximity" mode, due to shallow depth and narrowness of the canal. Adjust your main.cfg file (the copy in your documents folder) and change the time compression settings for something more comfortable. |
