|
|
I'm rather over the current SH3Cmdr banner and icon. I'd really like to replace them both with something "fresher".
As I'm about as skillful with a paint programme as I am performing brain surgery, I am calling upon some of the experts here to help me.
The icon is standard 32x32 pixels and the banner is 596x65 pixels (or proportionally scalable, but not too big or it impacts file size, either directly or indirectly).
I'd also love to add a small transparent paperclip to the top left of the Commander's image, if anyone would like to have a go?
Just post your images here and users can comment on the ones they like.
TIA |

Well, as JScones, graphics is rocket science to me too.
But, in order to have two different icons for SH3Cdr, one for my first installation and one for Grey Wolves, about 3 weeks ago I made this small simplified icon to honor a recently deceased Grey Wolf.
It's a little magnified here. When it becomes an icon, it's simply excellent.
Here's a link for anyone that likes it:

I put my vote in for iblitz's stuff!
All the banners are cool (sc8 is my fave), but the icon with the sub service badge or the iron cross are really nice. (I don't like the one with the sub, not enough definition in it. I know it's just a small icon, but there is something missing. The aqua devil is meh..)
Jonz's rusty rivet scheme is pretty cool too.... |

Man, you guys amaze me - they're all great. The best I can come up with is...
And that prolly took me longer than the 87 minutes that it took jcwolf to do two!
Hey, iblitz, any chance of seeing some of yours in a more blue/grey navyish colour combination?
Any more coming? Or do users now want to select a few for the final poll? |

A difficult choice - great artwork from everyone. Speaking just for myself I think I like these best. I'm kinda partial to that last one. |
