As far as I know, there is no chance to add new ships to AOTD.
For SH2 there are three German raider models which look like merchants, so I guess you could use the models, and also in the Pacific Aces mod I think there is at least a couple of new ones.
That ship in your signature is the coastal tanker from AOD converted for SH3, right?.

Not new merchants just new repaints. I got it in my head to try and make as many of these old ships in their old company colors so there are quite a few kicking around in my HD.
By the way, it would be nice if someone could translate those SH3 ships into SH2 hehehe.
I think AoD doesn't have the flexibility to add new ships unfortunately.

I think I have downloaded at least one of those raiders. But just in case you are talking about different ones, could you tell me where they are?

Well, actually it is a kitbash of the Tugboat from SH3. But is designed to look like those two small tankers from AOD.
With all theses new ships for SH2, I might have to get back into playing it again. :hmm: |

The Pinguin was the one I had. Thanks for letting me know where Serg's site was (I thought I had seen it before but forgot where it is).
I am very familiar with modding and installing ships for SH3, but I don't know much about SH2 modding. How would I remove the armaments to use these raiders as freighters? |

We think about using: NCLPerth, NCLAttendolo and/or NCLMontecuccoli. If you will complete the NBBQElizabeth we will directly insert it in the mod, or in a following moment with a patch.

We have inserted in the mod, almost all the Italian unities that you have repainted and that you have sent us in the past months. Unfortunately some missions is developed at the night time.
With the exception of the Italian airplanes we have inserted in the mod only the airplanes standard. Now the mod is almost complete, and our limited human resources don't allow us substantial additions.
Unfortunately the class of Destroyer "K" (HMS Kelly) is not inclusive in the standard unities of the game, and we have tried to represent war actions with protagonists the classes of available unity.

Though since JapLance is basing his repaints off Bruno's plates w/c I think are from the Profile Morskie books you may want to consider them as a 'sister ship'. After all doesn't it get rather boring (not to mention unrealistic) to have ships all with the exact same camo scheme?
Well if you can still fit them in I can send you the Do217K, Avro Lancaster and Blackburn Skua. IIRC the Skua was well used by the HMS Ark Royal in 1940. I'm thinking of doing a repaint of the Beaufighter as an early Blenheim as well if you'd like it. Also I got a new repaint of the British Clyde and Narwhal class subs (same repaint, different UDF) w/c I finished last night.
Well hopefully sometime in the future we may see Kelly or a more accurate Hood - I'm just happy with whatever the Italian shipyards can launch
As for Mowe class, that's the piece de resistance. I'll be doing those hopefully with all the schemes you sent me so I think you'll have a lot of fun with that Bruno. Just finished the two tone color scheme for the '1935' and a spankin new repaint of the two subs mentioned above.
And - good news JapLance - there IS a workaround for the non-German anti-aircraft guns. Machineguns don't work... but (hint, hint) AA guns do!

OK. We've got Scua. But we also should have Fairly Fulmar which became the staple air carrier fighter-bomber since late 1940, and definitely we need Barracuda. They were late for Midter, yet they were used to attack KMS Tirpitz. |
