Whining of the KILO,
Whenever I'm in DW and am playing as or encounter a KILO there is this, horrible whining noise that just goes on and on. Even if you disable her engines and turn off her acoustics it just continues, it is very madddening and I'll avoid all korean and chinease contact just to get clear of it.

How do I kill the noise?
If playing as a KILO it is heard at all panels. While playing against it, is heard when shown on 3D view.

And furthermore what in the world is it? if all the dieseals are off and the Audio acoustics are off. Why would the noise persist?

SoundBlaster Live, PCI by Creative.
Never had a sound problem before and it is only with the KILO.

I have a SB PCI512 and all i hear is the sound of the electric motors. Does it get louder when you increase speed or stop when you start the diesels? If it does then its the motor sound, if not there is a sound card problem.

It's possible that the .wav file for the electric subs got corrupted somehow.

Unfortunately, you'd probably have to do a reinstall to correct that.

I'd try that. You can backup your log file and scenario folders as well as your dangerouswaters.ini file to save you the hassel of reconfiguring everything and losing your data.
