i find akula mod in dw is not perfet! 1, below the waterline the colour should be red . 2, hull should be better chubbiness...! i hope indeed a man can creat correct 3d mod to replace the original mod!!!

The drawing you posted is very nice indeed. Do you mind if I use it to make the 3D model? I'll probably have someone make the texture. Do you happen to have pics with the colors that should be used?
Thanks

And a sweet Mcarm paint job. It was a 'special edition' with the text on the side. Cool

Yes, this is the Mcarm special edition Akula Rock Rock

It is possible to move this from SC to DW.

There is a big problem with doing this though !!!!

Because you are changing a playable model, the masts, towed array and weapons will not appear in the correct places.
Also, if you want to goto the bridge view to fire off a SAM, then you will not be able to see anything apart from the inside of the fin Sad

The only way i know to fix this would involve changes to a .dll file - and im not prepared to even try to change them, or give advice on how to :nope: :nope: .

Yeah that sucks. I could get the masts and weapons right but couldnt figure out the SAM stations for the Akula or Seawolf. More then just DWedit is needed. Crying or Very sad

LOL

That is the Deep Six model with the Mcarm special paint job.

My akula which is mapped but not painted has fully working doors, but I have to work out the pivot positions as they spin on the wrong directions.

Hopefully mine will be ready soon....eh Ramius Wink
