The 570 page spiral-bound manual is now in the warehouse and is available for purchase directly from Strategy First...

To order the manual visit the Dangerous Waters web page (link to BUY is on the left side):

I do have it and I highly recommend it.
It is a must have, I have read it several times and it is always nice to have handy when some doubts arise even in game.
It is the 50% of the game :know:
Is this kind of book that never get old. I still have my 688i Hunter Killer paper manual and It is surely a nice one to read to remember the submarine basics and sonar stuff.

The manual truly is a must have for those who want to get serious about the game. It is really nice to have around.

Also, I noticed the picture of the manual is of the old design. Has the cover design been updated at all for the new release of the game?

The manuals are from the Battlefront version, they went with a large bulk printing of the first edition, with more manuals produced than the first edition CD's (I think...), because it was cheaper to do it that way.

Once they sell out of the first edition manuals, they will print a new manual with the new cover. Rock

It's a collector's item, get it while you can. Yep Wink

So how is it different from the original manual?

I'd be keen to buy if it's different - I'm happpy to support SCS and their products if it means the sim will keep developing Wink Thumbs Up

Any chance of a version of this coming out in a smaller font and size, such that it would fit in the retail box? Maybe perfect bound instead of spiral (if that works better)?

Thanks all for your suggestions to buy the printed manual. A 570-page PDF file is not too enjoyable to read! Laughing Just bought the printed version using Jamie's link....

Gosh I've always enjoyed SCS manuals. The 688(i) and the DW manuals are the two most helpful manuals I've ever recieved with a game. Thumbs Up
