I'm surprised I see no mention of Shrapnel's Salvo! here. My review of it will be up here at Subsim fairly soon. |

I sent it to Neal last night. If it's not up by next week, beat on him. |

I have tried the demo. It looks quite ugly.
The game is sluggish with 2 ships in 1024x768 on my computer (2-3 fps). Specs: 2GHz P4, 1G RAM, ATI Radeon 9800 Pro. There is turbo mode (without special effects), but it is the same.
Scrolling with the mouse does not work properly.
Camera controls are a pain.
The game maybe good, but there is really no excuse for this interface and graphics in 2005. |

As I stated in my review, I agree with you on the camera controls. I liked the ship graphhics but, as I pointed out, the shore graphics could be better. I had no poblems with sluggishness. After all, it is tirne-based; fps rate seems irrelevant. |
