Need help on proper install

I have sub command

I install SCX

I install SCX IIC

then when I try to play it using the sub changer utility, crash to desktop

I am doing the interface and the loadout between each install

What am I missing??

Windows XP 2.8 Ghz Dell Inspirion 5100 Laptop

If I dont use the SCU the game runs fine, but try to access another sub and its acomplete reinstall to play

Okay, just to clarify a couple of things...

1) Before you install any mods, are you patching to 1.08? IIRC you have to do that first.

2) You said SCX, then SCXIIc, it should be SCXII, then SCXIIc, then SCU. I'm assuming that's what you meant but just making sure.

3) Also, I gather from what you said you ran the graphics exe files associated with SCX... I don't remember the exact order or location for these but they're in the SCX readme files.

Other than that, I really don't see what the problem could be. Hopefully somebody with a little more knowledge than myself stumbles on this.
