I have been following the progress of this game now for pretty much since the single player release, and I commend you for the playability and enjoyment that the game does bring.

But and here is the one major niggle that I have, it may seem petty to many but I cant get past piloting a ship that has the combined flag of the United kind and the Rising sun of Japan.

I may get flamed and I dont really care as its a personal thing but I know how many of my friends in the US hold their Star Spangled banner in so high regard, and apreciate the reasons why they do, all the little things like its never allowed to touch the floor when lowering,
some say a smal thing but not to the people that I know.

This leads me to the crux of the matter and thats seeing the Union Flag split, I just cant get past that isue, I m just suprised nothing has been said before, as I wrote earlier, some may think it a petty issue and I do realise its just a game but the flag of a country does tend to stand for something, I know it does in the US so why spilt the Union Flag, I appreciate the story and im fine with that but why desicrate a nations flag.

The story line I think very good, but please let us here in the UK sail under the colours that many died for , wether it be the Union Flag or the Royal Ensign. Im happy with the alliance but im dammed if I like serving under the flag of a different nation.

There is a good chance (peek in to the future here) that something could change that would be pre-saged by the development of a new LFN flag...just a tidbit.

Incidently. It was our intent to allow the flags to fly their Country flags as well as the LFN ensign, but our current system didn't handle it well.

Thanks for the reply.
At least you tried.
Its not an issue that would stop me playing. just an annoyance really, that we get to fly only half our flag.
Seems its only me that it niggles so maybe i'm being petty.
Keep up the good work.......

Oh and Jesper, The Free French had no country, but I bet they flew their flag when they fought Wink

anyhow, Thanks again, and go get some rest Argh
