I was wondering what most of you think about Dangerous Waters. I was thinking of getting it, but was mainly looking for a good sub sim and didnt really like the idea of a game that covers so many differant platforms. The reviews say that DW covers all the platforms realy well and accurately. though im for the most part a big sub fan. will i find the same quality of gameplay, in the sub area, as found in sub command? would you recommend it for someone who is mainly looking for a good subsim? |

As far as the subs go, Dangerous Waters has everything Sub Command has, and more (playable Kilo, bridge view on the surface, better physics & water modeling). In my opinion, the only reasons to stay with Sub Command after DW are the SCX/SCU mods for Sub Command, plus the many player-created custom scenarios & campaigns that exist for SC. |
