|
|
Hey, I just reinstalled Sub Command. My dad bought it ages ago but I just reacquired it and reinstalled it. I went ahead and put in the SCX II and IIc patches.
First I installed SC, then patched to 1.08, then SCX II, then SCX IIc, then the ESM fixes. Everything works fine.
However I run into this problem.
I'll be driving along and randomly my helm will order a depth of 100 feet or 800 feet. In addition, it will randomly begin to switch displays (i.e. from F7 to F5 to F3 to F4, etc) without any buttons being pressed. Any clues? |

I worked fine when I first installed it. I am thinking it is something with SCX because it didn't do it with normal SC and v.1.08 and the keyboard works fine, no problems anywhere. |

That does not matter in any way at all.
As long as you use the full patch everything will work just fine |

I have no sound problems. On a previous install I had just gone right to v.1.08 and it gave no problems, especially not this one. This one came with a fresh install that I did to make way for SCX. I'm really not in the mood to do a reinstall, I want to find and solve the problem. |

Thats more than likely down to hardware errors with your system than with the patches
I've lost count of the number of SC installs ive made and never had any problems going straight to 1.08 |
