Sorry for the misunderstanding, the your was a good question.
As I know, aircrafts had just a marginal role, mainly for coastal aerial recognition, against WWI u-boats; it should be nice to see some of them in the sky, anyway, even if not really dangerous. |

I'm not fully sure about the role of aircrafts in the prerelease, couse it most probably will play early before the war. Maybe 1906, where you experiance the beginnings of the german submarine weapon.
At that time there were no planes in military service i think. So i guess no planes in the prerelease.
Historicaly during the war the situation changed mutch. At the last part of the war the u-boat operations changed very significantly because of the steady growing air threat.

Hmm, 1906 i don't see a military role for them. Most of them were very experimental at that time.
So if i'm going to include them than it would be rather for eyecandy. I think to put LZ1-3 in to the sim.

Landtargets and i think ship targets as well. But i think reccon was the main purpuose. |
