I have two neutral russian ships in a mission, I want them to set alliance to a sub, after that sub is attacked.
I have a automatic tricker, If attack side 1 by FFG 48 then tricker fired, run script.
Script: set alliance Side 7, with Side1.
Nothing wrong here isn't it?
But it seems not to work, is it me or does this tricker not work? |

Send me your mission, I'll take a look. Maybe I can find what's happening. |

I *believe* that "set alliance" is more or less the same as "don't attack this side" - and no more.
There is no simple "switch side" script command, something that would have helped a bit. Unfortunately, there is no "wartime/peacetime" between each pair of sides.
Would the following suit your case?
Side 0 - player ship
Side 1 - target sub
Side 2 - peacetime - ships
Alliance side 1 & 2.
(Possibly a scripted alliance between 0&2, unless that gives "show allies" trouble)
When side 1 attacked, set wartime for side 2. (Break alliances side 0) |
