Interesting link. Thumbs Up

EDIT: This image http://ships.greenet.pl/subs_pl/imagepages/image55.html shows clearly the outside framework typical of many soviet submarines.

Dunno why other nations usually prefers to put frames inside the pressure hull and which are the advantages of both systems. A naval engineer should enlighten me Smile

Great link. Very Happy Thanks for posting it. Was that one sub pictured at different times or two subs being broken down?

Well, actually we got the Kilo before the two Foxtrots.
The ORP Orzel (Kilo) entered service in 1986
while the two Foxtrots entered in 1987 and in 1988.
It's a shame that they dindt do a museum of the sub, again as Kpt Lothar said.
If anyone of you guys want a Foxtrot submarine there's on for sale at Djurgårdsvarvet in Stockholm, Sweden.
The price is 250 000 € Smile http://www.djurgardsvarvet.se/vari/u194/index.e.php
