I am relatively new to WWII sub sims.

I remember seeing comments on the SH3 forum before release about some red marker.

I am now in the Taiwan Strait at night. It is pitch black, but I am able to target and lock a merchant having found it in the scope with red triangle.

Is this why folks were concerned about it for SH3? (auto-magic targetting when you cannot see squat)
