OK I've added most of the shortcut keys. There are only a few not on the quick reference card, but I've added lots of empty links which can be filled in if people are bored :)

There's almost certainly errors in the shortcuts too so please feel free to fix and add the ones I've missed.

And I restored that screwed up entry for Manual Targeting. Not sure what happened previously.

I've nothing to add (yet), but could we add another subheading or new heading and create a better mission editor document, or at least better info on how to do different things? If so, a thread over at the Mission Design forum wouldn't hurt. The one supplied with the game leaves a lot to be desired.

Wow...I go away for the weekend and when I get back, you guys have added a ton of great stuff!

Thanks especially to ozzage, who I noticed did a lot of work!

For anyone who was experiencing timeouts, sorry about that; right now the wiki is running on a tiny little box on a cable connection. Since this is really taking off, I'll keep my promise and move everything to a commercial host sometime in the next few days.

Thanks again for the great work!

Trying to give it some form throughout - creating sections for others to fill in and the like. Single Missions definition added. This was a great idea.

Since im a noob (6 patrols), i added noob-issues in the manual, so it can also be useful for first timers !!!

Also think it could be improved up to hard core players !!!

The Community Manual Wiki will be going down for a few minutes while I move it to a new server. When it comes back, the new address will be:

http://www.communitymanuals.com/shiii

I will post again when it's up. It should only take about 15 minutes. Any edits made between now and then will be lost.

The Community Wiki Manual is now up on its new server.

http://www.communitymanuals.com/shiii

The old address will redirect for a few days, but it will eventually go away. Please update your bookmarks.

If you have any problems, please post here or PM me.

Im sorry but I really dont "get it"
You have a web site...that anybody can post in and make "comments"

I just looked over a few items there, and it seems to be in MY opinion...half truths, half lies, total nonsense, and everything in between...

We have that here??

whats the point?

Yes but there it's all in one place ;)

Seriously, if you see that something is wrong, you can fix it yourself. Somebody makes an initial entry about, say, Torpedoes. Somebody else sees it and thinks "hmm that sentence is wrong" or "they've missed something important" so they edit it and fix it. It gets better and better if people fix things they see.

Sounds like it wouldn't work, but look at Wikipedia to see that it does.

The idea (as I see it) is that it provides a single reference point for every bit of info about SH. It's also a good FAQ and after a while almost every repeat question can be answered by pointing them to the wiki. Then people learn to find other simple answers there too.

I love a good wiki ;)
