This may be redundant, but here are the ports that need to be forwarded for MP Play... Yep

SHIII: TCP/UDP 17997 thru 18003 ( 8 Players can join)
Ubi Ping: TCP 667
Ubi.com: TCP/UDP 40000 thru 42000
Ubi.com2: TCP/UDP 43500

This should get ya all readied up Cool

I went to my firewall options in control panel and gave silent hunter 3 an exception in the options, and now I can host too, don't know if this is as safe as manually configuering ports etc, can't be too risky..?

Can it.?

I guess I would set-up the ports manually. Sometimes those auto-functions don't work so well...lol

I know this may seem terribly stoopid but would someone mind giving me a step-by-step as to how I can enable these ports?

Yup, me to! The others did not work for me at all. I'm using an ActionTec DSL modem/router.

I went to www.portforward.com to get help with my setup. I also called the tec people at Actiontec to get some help as well. :know:
