Hi guys,
I finally solved my previous problem http://subsim.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=30122 , but now I have another that I need help with. When ever I use the high frequency mine/ice detecting sonar the game crashes back to the desktop. Any ideas on how to solve this? It gets to be very annoying when you are tasked to transit a mine field.

Hi Tex_Hill --
Well first off, are you running just SC, or do you have it patched to 1.08 with SCX/SCU? I had an issue a few months back very similar to yours except that my system would freeze then crash to desktop when I changed any screens in the Sonar Station too rapidly. I ended up having to re-install everything from scratch and that seemed to fix the issue for me. I know it sucks to have to re-install everything, but if all else fails, you may want to give it a try. Other than that, I have no other advice. Hopefully someone else with greater experience can chime in.
