My crew, while staunch fighters in the German navy, also like to have a bit of fun while at sea, so they listen to a steady stream of Django Reinhardt.

Nothing like taking down a convoy while a bouncy little guitar tune is playing!

If anyone wants the Django Reinhardt tunes I was talking about earlier, you can download many of them HERE. You have to sign up for an account, but it's free and you don't need to install any crazy plugins.

I remeber ages ago i saw a site with the Aces of the Deep tune recorded in Wav format. Wish it still existed, doesn't seem quite right patrolling the Atlantic without montone midi music! he he

Thanks about django link Thumbs Up
My Kaleu is secret lover of degenerated afro-american music and gets bored after too much march-music.
Fortunately he got a hand-picked and loyal crew and they dont tell Gestapo.
There was a couple of Duke Ellington and Mills brothers tunes also.Great stuff.

I served on Subs. in the Pacific and we enjoyed Toyko Rose broadcast, it was much better than what came out of Stateside.

Wow, the songs in the original post are great. I DLed the first pack and love it. I'm going to get them all. I don't know what they're singing about but it definately gives a flavour of the time. Absolutely perfect for use in SH3. Thank you for compiling and posting them for us!

It's great how hard this community works to make the SH3 experience better.

Rotfl Thumbs Up :gulp:

Does one unzip (extract) these files to the Mod Enabler or direct to Grammaphone, or is there some proceedure(s) prior to direct extraction?? Do they extract individually or as a group? Are they in OGG format or must they be converted? If so, how?
In short, what is the correct proceedure/sequence to get these to (randomly, via SHIII Commander) play as the game progresses?
Thanks...a computer Neanderthal, Frogdog

Are packs three through five going to be posted again (or have they already been somewhere else)? I grabbed packs one and two, but the rest say they've been deleted.
