Download the two programs (SCX, SCXIIc) from Bill's site (subguru). They both have comprehensive installation instructions. You won't regret it.

OK. Thank you for the info. I have downloaded them, loaded and installed. So far so good. But when I go and want to view in 3d mode, system crashes.

Nope. It shouldn't. I have Windows XP and all the goodies work fine on my computer. You may want to re-install from scratch. Fresh installs have worked for me in the past.

Just something to consider..... :hmm:

Yep. I have also tried that about a half a dozen times. I have found out that it only happens on controllable boats. Other boats/ships are fine. Just controllable ships/boats.

Yes you need to run them twice....

Install SCXII patch, Run the .bat files, Install SCXIIc patch, run the .bat files IT installs.

If you install them both then run the files, I believe they both have the same names (xxx.bat file) So what you end up running is only the SCXIIc bat file. [I may be wrong though its been so long since I did the install] BUT you do have to run the bat files after each patch.
