Can anyone give me a brief description on how to assign one surface ship to attack another surface ship? Any ideas would be grateful. Thanks

I once built some SC scenario just for fun... put helos, fighters, surface and subs in it. Well that scenario crashed some systems but to come to your question, i had 2 surface ships hostile to each other and as soon they came in sight some massive missiles exchange started between them.
Just set 2 war ships hostile to each other and close enuff... |
