I received Revell's 1/72 U-Boot as a present for Xmas too Very Happy

Have not yet decided which cammo pattern I'm going to model :hmm:

U-552 is nice, but it's already a too popular design. I'm thinking about doing U-203. The pattern is not very nice, but I have seen only very few models with it. So it would be more exclusive Very Happy

U-96 is beautiful, but also not too original

Your converted VIIC is beautiful! Rock Where did you get the parts?

Very nice

I have just started mine, very nice kit so far, building it stock with a few modifications ie Eduards photo etch.

If I had the room I would like to make a diorama with my Corvette but the missus would go nuts.

A little something like this Cool

I would like to build a U-boat model but dont have room for the 1/72 scale. I would prefer the Revell 1/125 U-boat, but the detail is not good. Does anyone make an etched metal detail set for the 1/125 Revell type VII? Thanks, Joe S

I have a number of the 1/700 scale U-boats and U.S. subs available from the various Japanese manufacturers. Never built any of them, though.

Thanks Steve, but actually I was looking for something bigger, like 1/96 or so. I remember that a few years ago there was a company in Cal. that made beautifull big scale models of Gato's and VII C's, 32nd Parallel. But I can't find them anymore.
