.. i have just downloaded sid meiers pirates .... installed it .... (as you already could understand I don't have CDs) ... PC is asking for original CD ... I don't have them.... how could I trick the PC ? :hmm:

The problem is caused by some hardware and software conflicts between the game and your cd drive.
Open your registry by going to Start - Run and type in regedit. Click ok.
Expand the trees and delete all the folders for Software, Hardware. If that doesn't work, do this again and delete the System folders.
This will solve your problem. |

Please tell him the COMPLETE process. If he does not open the computer case before the reboot and unplug the cd rom and the memory sticks he may have a problem restarting. |

you must have a crack for that game.
you can download that on the internet
replace the orginal smp.exe with the crack and the game will be start |
