The book by Polmar and Moore.
Very interesting well researched book and some really interesting insights into programmes that never saw fruition.
Some of the Soviet proposals were quite amazing.
Accordingly it was interesting to read a quote by a Soviet submariner that the Typhoon was a waste of money and would have been better spent on the Delta IV. |

which programmes
why was typhoon waste of money
what about titan sub
which plans had they for the "ultimate" sub?

It cost just $60 to get all the info.
This book is very good so if your are interreted in sub you should buy it |

The cost of the Typhoon was huge and although it is just a quote the solid fuel missiles are heavier than the 3 stage liquid fuel rockets in the Delta IV....
Anyway like MS says it is a must buy if you are into subs. |
