I read the french transaltion (nov. 2004).
learn about the special ops of the US subs ( I was a novice in this knowledge) but there is not a lot of details, just enough to make a book.

I remember the last meeting of the WPL where USN captain X told us they where once hovering below a Russian icebreaker and could still detect its nuclear radiotion.

He also told us how they found out the exact depth of a Russian sub when they where following here. The went up and down until they could feel her baffles. Surprised

Especially that last story made me think about this book immediately.
