Keep your eyes on Robin White. His novel Typhoon is one of the best sub stories I've read recently, IMO. Also, H. Jay Ryker's Silent Service series is well worth reading. |
I agree 100% with your opinion of White. Typhoon is indeed a really good read. |

I agree the Silent Service novels were good but they seemed very short to me. I'd like to see another modern sub book along the scale of Hunt for Red October.
By now the silent drive technology should have advanced to the Moth or Butterfly stage. :8 |

Oh yes i would Like to see a new Sub Novel ala "Hunt for Red October",and i have read Robin White,,Patrick Robinson ,Dimercurio, got my Fingers on the 2 Novels from Mark Joseph on Ebay last Night.
Never the Less a New Book from Someone with enough Facts and not overboiling fantasies would be great.
Coming to think of that,i think we must have a Member amgonst us who can do the Job,i.e Knows Subs,Been there done that, must be good in making SC Scenarios/ Campaigns e.t.c.Who Knows maybe someday in a Near Future,we will all have read the Book Called:
DEEP BLUE WARRIOR
