I't my understanding that Firaxis also has the rights to several of the older Sid Meier MicroProse (God rest it's soul ) games. So now that they've brought back Pirates does this mean we'll see Silent Service 3 or Taskforce 1942 II? I hope so :hmm: I'm get'n really tired of all the grossly non-realistic WW2 games that rely on eye candy to make 15 - 20 crappy,non-fun to repeat, missions seem good. I wan't to do what I want to do just like in Pirates and most of the older MicroProse (God rest it's soul ) games!
Too bad Firaxis will not accept outside "sugestions" for games. |

I remember (and had) TF 1942. Not sure which one SSIII was, though. |

I'll go back (maybe even) further. I played an old DOS game called GATO back in 1988 or so. |

I remember playing Sea Wolf on an arcade machine in a hamburger joint. Personal Computer? Whats that??
I don't see how they can lose with Silent Service III, if it is set in the Pacific. But they will have to step up to match the graphics and gameplay of Silent Hunter III :know: |
