I've been trying to maintain a fleet of three smaller ships that I can rotate through when damaged. Usually two sloops a brig.
I either make up silly names or try to go with something that sounds old and British.
Right now I have
Pont du Honk
Ole de Cronch
Victorious

Just started Pirates as the notorious fop, coxcomb and pirate Eddie Yates.
I've got a frigate called the "Corrie", and I try to get a back-up frigate which I usually call the "Nation".
He's already streets ahead of the othe pirates. |

I'm fond of the Royal Sloop, or if I can't find one, the Sloop of War. Brigs are a close second, since, despite being slower, they have better points of sailing.
I usually set sail in the Bushwhacker or the Battlehammer, though if I capture a nice ride with a name I like I'll keep it. Had a great run with the war sloop Magdalen. |

Thats Black Beard, I think :hmm:
I partial to the Frigate (its fast for its size and with all the upgrades and crew, its almost unbeatable). I always call it, "The Titan," |
