Hi folks!
I just wonder if it's possible to play SC under win 2000? Is there any patch which enables me to do so?

Cheers,

I've tried playing a stock version on Win2000 and a got a CTD whenever I entered the weapons loadout screen before each mission. That was on a different computer I use now. At home I use XP and hve had no problems. Just patched myself up to SCX IIc

If that was the case.. in Win2k you should probably make the whole install folder writeable.. not just read-only.

I'd suspect that the certain scenario isn't getting set up correctly due to that.

Don't remember if the folder was read only.. but i can't think of any reason why it would be.. but in any case, everything is fine now that i'm on XP
