We decided together with Sonalysts to not to try to rush for an artificial x-mas deadline in the hope to catch more business, and in the process risk making some stupid mistakes. We have the luxury of not having to fight for shelf space, so why not take a few extra weeks to get things right.

So instead of rushing, we're giving the beta guys more time to iron out more bugs (this game is incredibly complex under the hood!) and also take more time to produce hi-quality manuals. Current tentative release date is early february. This gives us enough time to handle the logistics, process all orders etc. We will be opening pre-orders sometime in January.

What you see here is an advantage of our publishing model at work, an advantage mainly for the players I might add who will get a more polished game (no game is perfect of course, I am sure there will be patches down the road, but unlike some retail releases the game is actually going to work out of the box )

Good news: pre-order in January Thumbs Up
Bad news: DW and SH III at the same time! Damn

So long waiting for a sub sim, and now we have two together!

Im glad to see that they are making a good manual this time. The manual in SC was very little informative.

I applaude.

There is already too much rushed nonsens on the shelves, which is especially true for civilian flightsim stuff. Situation there is so bad that it really has killed my interest in it completely and made me sticking exclusively with the old stuff I have.

Who can forget the immortal problems that LOMAC had with W98SE machines?

Its not such an issue for me... I will buy both games anyway... Whichever I am playing at a time is not such an issue for the Publishers/Developers. Once I get the game, the money goes into their pocket, the game goes into my hand, and both sides are happy.
