Just found a reference to the aps137 being mounted on the orion, so that's probably what he meant.
However,
"Smuook reported a hit of suspicious ESM energy"
and soon "went into the drink" from ramius' sams. |

Heres a simple explaination of it.....
I put my ESM mast up and gained contact with an AN/APS-137.
"Smuook reported a hit of suspicious ESM energy" = yep, i did use my radar  |

Was this played over a LAN network, or online? I would like to know if there were any lag issues.

Question is. When you first surfaced and got detected by the frigate. You mention that surface was clear. Did the frigate get a radar return on you without you picking up an esm contact?
Perhaps you were not at the esm station at the moment.... |
