When do they ever say that? What happens when they do? |

I guess that beats a one way trip to Davy Jones locker...
Or maybe not...did the allies treat prisoners well? I'd have thought so, but after the US's Iraq prison thing, I'm not so sure anymore. |

I think it was SLIGHTLY different back than. I would think that they were treated better, especially the professional 'soldiers' like seamen and pilots, although this whole thing of U-boats being despised, it's tough to make a call on this.
but I think that Germans would rather end up in a US POW camp than in a Soviet POW camp during the WW2... |
