MAGNIFICENT!!!! ABSOLUTELY SPOT ON!!!

both the one on the site and the one showcased here...

my compliments to Grauer Wolfe... your choice of the soundtrack was right on the money...

We are glad about your reactions. This a reason to go on creating such movies! We choose the title "Perfect dark promo" produced by Craig Armstrong. Smile

that sound track was the perfect accompanyment to the video...

i was so taken in by this that i made up a lil video clip of my own (my first attempt at something cinematic) starring an Ohio sub i was modelling, diving in Virtual Sailor... and a lil excerpt from the thoughts of one of her crew Cool

with all apologies to the Bauer Wolfe and the guys over at aotd-clan.com... i was inspired to whip up this lil clip...
(repeat the concept is not mine, the sound track is not mine)

"3 degree down..."
"3 degree down, aye... hey, can you hear it?"
"hear what..."
"the singing... the sound of people singing"

"are you loosing your mind Jonesy"

"passing six zero feet..."

"six zero feet, three degree down angle"

and they continued the dive, seaman Jones said no more...
but the voices were still there... just barely perceptable...
they accompanied him... a muted chorus of sorts...

a somber celebration maybe... ... and Jonesy thought to himself,

some people can here them... some never will...

and he told himself that maybe...
as you start your descent into the shadowy depths...
maybe... if you listen very carefully...
you will hear the voices of angels...
as they join together in somber chorus
as if to herald your departure from this world above
and your entrance to the world of the deep.

"passing 80 feet... lower number one scope"

they were gone now... the voices had softly vanished...

they could not share the reality of the business of diving the
immense sub... the boomer took all the concentration one
could muster... no time for daydreaming here...
no time for the voices of angels...

hey Nemo, is there a link to where i can get the album, and a lil info on the artist(s) who did the original soundtrack?

and THANKS again to all who were involved in making the SHIII vids... i thoroughly enjoyed em.

Though the music was great, it seemed too ....Russian, and not enough German.

It reminded me more of Hunt for Red October or Crimson Tide, both based on Cold war Submarines, than lets say Das Boote

I'm think more Classic German than Russian music.......I could be way off, but that is my opinion

yeah i've still got it... it was really one of the first VS videos made...

i can't believe you let it get lost Joking

you gotta back these things up to cd, especially something like that... it must've taken you a while to put it all together...

... anyway (just a lil kidding Very Happy )

your vid is 10MB in size... even after compressing it with MS MovieMaker, it still tops out at near 4MB... i don't have enough space on any of my upload sites to squeeze in another 4MB right now...

i'm going to do some housecleaning a lil later, and if i can, i'll put it up (wmv format)...
