The best preview yet (and there have been some good ones)! Only went through page 3 here so far on my slow 'working out of town' dial up but really, really good.
Play by play in game station shots. How the target is actually acquired and the methods used-I love it! Some past screenies are making more sense now.
Well done. How about the same treatment for a OHP? |

Hi
Thats a nice preview of the P-3. Best thing is I don't understand half of it at a first glance, which is great. Then there will be a lot of new things to learn in DW. Only think of all the new acronyms to burden your memory... And that thick manual to read in bed before you go to sleep... Thats what will get the simheads hooked to DW for sure.
Cheers Porphy |

Oh yeah, really nice preview indeed, lots of eye-candy too.
Well, Beer is an old P-3 fart, the preview he wrote is good from the P-3 standpoint.
I liked it anyway |

This helped me understand the role of the P-3 better than anything! I can't wait for Smuook's "school" to come online for more hands on approach to learning the P-3.
I have a feeling that it will help with understanding the MH-60 also since they share quite a few systems. |

I love this review. Well done Beer.
My favorite screenie:
But...any guesses as to what "water Region, Wind Region or Enviromental Objects" mean? :hmm:
Kinda sucks to be teased like this... |

My guess is that its currents and stuff.
What’s up with "Own Ship Must Survive"? Isn't living a prerequisite of a successful missions?
Yea we accomplished the mission sir but its just that... WE'RE DEAD!! |

Well-duh-my guess too. I meant how does it work?
I mean do we make 'boxes' with completely different currents and winds side by side? Doesn't make sense. :hmm:
And "Enviromental Objects"? Must be more to it then just adding "shrimp" the SC way. :hmm: |

Wasn't there a possibility in Sub Command's campaign to continue to next mission even if you died? Maybe that's some kinda campaign mission feature or something.. you just can't afford to get killed. ..I dunno :hmm: |

Is this sim kind of like subcommand and fleet command combined? |

Its more of like Sub Command with more platforms (ship, aircraft...) you can choose to control. You will not get control over multiple platforms in one mission as in Fleet Command. |
