i'm just creating a new DW fansite.

there's not much content to see right now, but i'd like to get some feedback on the design.

i think it looks best at a screen resolution of 1280x1024 , but even 800x600 should be possible.

please report if there are problems with the navigation menus, not sure if they work with every browser.

tested so far:
Opera 7.54 Win32
IE 6

planned content:
- technical guides (technical problems with the game, installation of addons and so on)
- strategy and tactics guides
- links to every addon and modification that will be released by the community
- maybe also a mission center,
-various other DW relatet things that come to my mind Smile

here you can find it :

http://www.guggs.de

for those who remember that URL:
the VSL site will still be avaialable at www.guggs.de/srr/ , but there's no progress at the moment. it was more a testing area for me to learn some database stuff. many of those things i learned there will be used for the new site Smile

Firefox

your assumption is correct. nothing besides some links in the "news & links" section is implemented right now (well, some things are, but you can't see them on that page).

i'm currently working on the mysql/php based news system (any pre-made thing like phpnuke and so on would be oversized, so i am building my own one for my needs) and it's nearly finished. (actually it is finished, only some administrative things are not ready and the code needs to be restructured a bit).
once that system is completed i will start adding content to the site.

Uhh... what's this?

http://www.guggs.de/tutorial/

Rotfl

I have that too. I more or less gave up on it though. An exploit I reported early on is to my knowledge still fully usable. (Haven't tested the latest patch though)

a relic of old times Wink

keep your focus on www.guggs.de/DWRC/ or www.guggs.de instead of /tutorial/ and everything will be fine Wink

i hope the game will be released very soon. first because i want to play it of course, but also because i need it to be out to be able to fill my website. i don't like it that emtpy.
well i could add some general info like platforms in game and so on but i don't think that would be necessary... one could simply go to the official website to find those things, i don't want to have a simple copy in other words of their content Wink

Not if you posted more on operating it etc than they do.

For the p-3 you could ask somebody at orionwarrior.com to write something before the game comes out.

Also, for the most part, the subs will be the same as sub command.
