The game will not be sold in stores, but will only be available via mail order from www.battlefront.com. S.C.S. - Dangerous Waters will be entering beta stage in October and is scheduled for a release in Fall 2004.

You just mis-read it i think

Here's a thread where Jamie explains the publishing deal with Battlefront. 5 pages. It's somewhere there.

Considering that Battlefront have done pretty well out of selling via this method they will probably do just fine....

Sooooo,

the mailorder variant of the game is supposed to have a fat english handbook.

The retail variant will maybe have not have the same handbook (ok, they ARE expensive, those handbooks).

My question now:
What about those of us NOT currently located in North America? IŽd like to have a english mailorder-version. Does battlefront mail to germany? Because if not that would be a disaster of epic porprtions (for me, that is Smile ). A retail version with fat handbook I could get at amazon...
