Neal, where it says "Traducido en espaņol cerca Mix-Martes86 - Oct 29, 2004" at the top of the first page it should be "Traducido al espaņol por Mix-Martes86 - 29 de octubre de 2004". When you use "by" referring to someone that made something, you must say "por", and dates are written the day first and the month second. Everything else is great. Wink

Adam: It's very common to see things funny in other languages. Very Happy

Thanks, I'll fix that.

What's cool is when you compare the English and Spanish side-by-side, I can pretty much read the Spanish. Guess living in Tejas helps Smile

Yep, Spanish is well spread all over the US. Oh and I see that you have uploaded a clip. Nice, I'm gonna see it.

EDIT: I've seen the clip, it's nice to see the people enjoyed the game, but, don't you got in-game recorded clips, with its sound and better graphics quality?

Thanks Neal

Read it late last night, felt great to hear an in-dept-report about the currend build.
Oh man, I still remember the first subsim I played accidently - Silent service. Around ? 12 years ago.
And the fuzz on the boards about why SHII do not model a real 3D interior of the ship and why there will be no dyn. campaigne! :dead:
Now we get it all Surprised but the best thing ...Neal got that absulute right ground breaking is the "real crew" we have! U-boat simulating isn't a one-man-only-show anymore! :8Cool
Truly a new era.

This will be better than flightsimming Smug

Thumbs Up

First Of All... A BIG TIME THANKS TO ONKEL NEAL for the preview of what looks like it's gonna be the defnitive sub sim of the new millenia... Thumbs Up

no kidding, from the in depth hands on review, this looks like it may indeed be 'The One' Yep

great read Neal...

second... and i guess this is what i get for missing staff meetings, but i had no idea that Torplexed was such a talented artist Neutral\ that 'toon of the old meeting the new on the opening pages was subtly surpassed by his spot on rendering of a renewed Yohan, overjoyed at the prospect of taking his new boat out to sea, at the end of the review...

again... THANKS to the whole crew who helped bring this to light for the rest of us... it's good to have some new subsim news to peruse as i surface for the annual Halloween trick or treating ritual...

ok, i'm going back to read it again...see if there's any bit of info or slice of screenshot that i may have missed Joking

Thanks Mike...I've missed a lot of staff meetings too. Very Happy

I remember SHIII came out at about the same time as IL-2 Sturmovik. I recall wishing the graphics in SHIII could be of the same caliber as those in IL-2 since I prefer subsims to flight sims.

These look even better. :sunny:

We ran it on a 2.4ghz, 512 Ram, Geforce ti4100 128 MB ram. Ran great but with a better video card you will se even better graphics. Plus, I did not have all the effects turned up.... :8Cool

I'm going bow to Ubisoft and let them handle the ingame clips. At this stage in the game's development, they know better than me what should be shown and what is still a work in progress. Wink

Confused I thought you would release all the material instead of leaving the choice to Ubi. It's been months I would say since the last time we've seen a new video. We're just 3 months away from the planned release date and we've just seen 4 official in-game footages and 1 video recorded in Leizpig. I don't think that they will be angry for that. :hmm:

Neal, the link in the 4th page to the starshell pic isn't available, but it is in the English version.
