I just wanted to thank you for the great work - this mod has done it - I am playing SH with the same joy as I was doing AOD at the time.
SHII never got off with me. I did not like the campaign settings (like having stupid mission targets to fulfill like going to a waypoint, when the action was actually over before that - or the non existing "save during mission" function). And the graphics were a bit old for the time - but this is not so important, as "plausible" gameplay is THE factor for playing this kind of game - at least for me.
You also did a superb job on the sound - now I almost FEEL the wind blowing past me when on the tower ...
Once again - really a superb job !!! |

One question. "Chlorine Gas detected - We must surface!" I was on the surface running full????? Ah well what the hell, a superb patch and very well done to all concerned. Another voluntary contibution seems in order.
Can someone point me towards the paypal button, can't seem to find it??? |

Welldigger wrote: | Hi everyone,
I am cooperating with helping distribute the 1.1 patch and am making it available via FTP. The server runs on my desktop, which normally runs 24/7, but since it is just a personal computer 100% uptime is not guaranteed. I have a 8mb ADSL connection with no limits on my amount of inbound/outbound traffic. Some folks who make the file available via a website might have to pay extra fees if they use up too much bandwidth, so in order to cut them some slack, give this FTP a try.
I am limiting simultaneous connections to 3 users at a time, so if you can't log in, just try again later on. A good download manager that can automatically retry connections and restart broken downloads would be very handy. I recommend "Internet Download Manager" from http://www.internetdownloadmanager.com
Use can use the software as a fully functional trial version for 30 days. I like it so much, I actually paid for it....
Connection Info:
Server name: 43.244.200.53
Login: PA
no password necessary
This should work. I have successfully used it in the past to share files with friends.
Alternately, users of the p2p software DC++ can find it among my shared files on the "Newsgroups Audiobook Hub" at ngaudiobooks.homeip.net:414 I have the same user name there. |

What emblems do you mean? I can't find anything wrong on the map in my install? Can you post a screenshot?
As to deck gun, you are suppossed to get 176 shells. What sub do you have 999 shells for? |

I would post screen shots of both if I knew how but I don't know how to post them on here, I have tried, believe me. As far as the emblems for an example the start base is a small Japan flag & the enemies are USA flags. The Sub is a Sturgeon class on a 2nd mission of a campaign in the year 1942.

Sounds like something wrong with your installation, likely some missing or corrupt files. |
