Hi, thanks very much, are the new sounds in this D/L also? I noticed the D/L is 42 megs and I thought the patch was 45 megs then on top of that another 15 for the new sounds. |

No, sounds are not included in this main patch.
45 MB was only a rough estimation from me, because a few unplanned things went also into the patch. Find out by yourself what these things are  |

FYI... Dial-up download time was 2h10m @ 48.0 Kbps. No CRC errors. |

The new stations are simply awesome!!! Love the new radar station, and the new compas at the helm station is a dramatic improvment. Cheers for the efforts.
I just began my first campaign with the new update, and have taken command of USS Jack at the onset of the war. I was also very pleased to see that changes have been made to the campaign so as to allow you to be based out of Pearl Harbour. This is also a welcome surprise.
Again, Cheers! |

Thank you... Thank you... Thank you... for my very first "Radar Contact". After all these years I finally have a radar that picks up a ship before I saw it. Thanks. Just love those new gauges. A merchant ship actually almost got me! Lured me in then he opened up with two deck guns. Sustained 40% hull damage, submurged, then torped him. Nice touch! |

Haven't run across a sampan yet... anyone have any luck?

Yeah I just got a couple. There were two of them together, looked like sail boats or something. Hit the lead one with a 5 inch round and he went down real quick. Chewed the other up with 40mm rounds. They were 24 tons each.
Then a damn submarine sent me to the bottom with a torpedo.
Cool. |

Radar contacts at 10nm, could focus radar on target. Awsome update.
Thanks to all who make this possible.
Thanks
Thanks
Anyone know what time period 40mm guns become available? |

Yes, there are Q-Ships sailing around. Be careful!
