According to a post at the official forum some time before E3 a developer stated that this trailer would be made from ingame footage
The torpedo hit at the end is the most realistic depiction of such an event Iv'e seen from a sim so far, it does look amazing. |

| you got that right badhat that sub breaking up and pieces falling off of it,I'v notice that some of the screenshots were in the movie,so i think we have got a winner in this game |

I played the latest dev version today in a closed group backtage at the Games Convention 2005. Operations in shallow waters are awesome, the waves from your boat clashes on the beaches and shore stones, the entire graphic of the costline landscape puts the one from SH3 far behind.
One of the devs told me that they have green lights(and the money ) from Akella to put the release date forth to 1Q 2006 because of implement more campaign options and behaviors. |

| Loved the effect of the sub's bow and stern rising out of the water as it was being blown in half. Just wish it would come out. Been waiting since 2004 for this one. |
