Help I get a CTD when I select the Aussie Newport LST in the USNI veiwer!!!!

Seems to work fine for me on the TWO installs of SCX IIc i've got running.
A fresh install and an upgraded version.

Not too sure what this one could be. If it keeps happening, let us know

Managed to fix the error with the SSN-22.

A "small" update fix file is available from here

Extract this file into your .../graphics folder and run the Install_ssn22_fix.bat file.

So far no ESM capabilities at all by akulas or typhoon in campaign or single mission with SCXIIC(using pre SCU/SCXIIC missions that is) this install was applied on top of a pre-existing SCX II install without SCU(SCU was applied afterwards and resulted in NO change to ESM)...My akula is deaf to ESM listening.

I have exactly the same symptom. I have lost my ESM signals from the ESM mast with the Akula II and Akula I improved. I installed the SCXIIc over the top of my SCXII/SCU install. Any ideas?

Strange one....

Yet if you put your scope up , you get the ESM via that.

Also if you surface then the ESM starts working again Rolling Eyes

Not too sure on why this would happen, but i'm sure some-one will Very Happy

A reinstall of SCXII and SCXIIc did not solve my Newport problem. Sad It seems that after playing a mission the Newport shows up in USNI some of the time.

Hmmm. Just did a little test mission with the Akula II and works for me. I also just downloaded overtop SCXII/SCU.

I have been having some problems with the Tigerfish torps presets however. I cant change the desired speed sometimes without 'clicking' back and forth between tubes. Works better if there is a Spearfish in one of the tubes. Click there first (say tube 1) then go to the Tigerfish (say tube 2) and you can change the speeds...

When you say changing speeds on the Tigerfish...

Are you trying to speed them up... ie faster than 35 kts ??

If so then they can't go any faster Sad only slower Rolling Eyes

Nope. I know 35 is their max. Saddly. Rolling Eyes

Put a Spearfish in tube one and Tigerfish in the rest. Now go to tube one, set a quick snapshot and should be no problem with presetting the speed. Now go to tubes 2-5 and see what happens. The first tube you go to (tube 2) once you have done the Spearfish will work. Now go to tube 3. I cannot change the default speed (55) until I click back to the Spearfish. Then come back to tube 3.

Update: Just tried it with loading Tigerfish alone and can not change speeds at all. Just stays at default 55. Sad

If just left alone without changing the '55' the Tiger fish will launch at 35.

Hope this isnt an issue with other weapons...Not such a big deal with the slower Tigerfish...

I agree. Spearfish will be the weapon of choice but will have to have a couple of Tigerfish on their looks alone..

I just ran a Russian Kilo and the weapons there work fine.

Which leads me to ask how do I change the sonar interfaces for the user subs? I have 3 usersub files. A usersub, usersub6, and a usersubS. Do I have to replace the sonar files in all three folders or just one? Confused
