You mean cutscenes ? Hmmm, that could be a nice touch. Tough to get it just right, I figure. I rather see the team invest the limited time in great gameplay.

But I'd love a replay/movie editor, to be able to make little patrol movies myself (needs great 'view-control' tool) for review.

Sounds like a waist of time/dev team resources to me. those movies are nice the first 2 times, but after that they get annoying.

A starting cutscene for a game is always good to create atmosphere. I enjoyed the one for SHII, and the sub scene in Battlefield 1942's cutscene.

Since the game graphics these days are so good, it would be OK to use the game engine to do the animation, avoiding the need to invest money into artwork.

U-Boats weren't used in coordinated battles with surface ships. They'd have to surface to communicate with them, rendering them almost useless. (HF could be detected underwater, but it requires some range before it bounces off the ionosphere and come back)

I took his meaning to be he wants to see a video clip of gameplay, so we can see the game in action. Surprised

If that is what he meant I agree, screenshots are nice but they really dont show how the game will really look.

I would like to see details....

Will it be a simulation?

Will it have a Random campaign within the context that Germany will always loose because I and my trusty crew cannot turn the tide of the war as we are not playing Quake on Water™ ?

Will the campaign be simular to, but an improved version of the CAOD?

Will it...........
