The new version, currently in alpha, seems to be working well with PA - just more testing and the documentation to do before it's released. |

I have yet to give a donation as I just don't have the time to play the games that I have now. But from the looks of things this part of SHII is taking off with a bang.
So I will give this thread a bump also to the top of the line. |

modified campaign totals screen for PA
replaces the normal screen with a mixed version of the captains log graphic and the board room.. uses different font
http://www.ebort.com/files/camtotal.zip
....
similar effect only for the in sub log book
http://www.ebort.com/files/logbook.zip
......
a low res rain mod for sytems that suffer slow down during rain effects
caution needed here as this is only tested on a 3dfx Voodoo 55000 card
make a bak up of the stock rain1.tga first
http://www.ebort.com/files/lowrain.zip
.....
and at the risk of upsetting john!!
an alternative weather set up for the PA campaign
using a set of stationary and moving weather fronts around the map in addition to the normal weather settings (for want of a better way of putting it!)

I have been reading all of the information associated with installing PA on to SH2 but am unable to achieve the desired results like getting it to WORK!.. .....So, after making my donation via PayPal I downloaded all necessary files (I think). I was happy to donate. Wish I could afford to more often. The work you guys perform here is priceless.
1) I just finished formating my HD so when I reinstalled SH2 it was a REAL clean install.
2) I renamed the folder to C:\Program Files\SSI\Silent Hunter II\Pacific Aces
3) Unzipped 1.1 patch to same folder
4) installed PA to same folder
5) Clicked on PA icon........BLACK SCREEN followed
6) and double
I would be eternally gratefull if someone could point me out of this mire.
Contact info is ....MSN name JSF.....email is ron_peg@charter.net
FYI....I did request the CD. So, this should be arriving in a few days. I would like to thank any and everyone in advance for any assistance. |

As one Bilge Rat to another - I renamed C:\Program Files\SSI\Silent Hunter II to C:\Program Files\SSI\Pacific Aces, installed the SH2 1.1 patch, Vicker´s mods, project Messerswetzer, Pacific Aces, then Pacific Aces 1.1 patch. Worked for me.
