You are right. This game looks stunning. Although I think that the sea detail will be a bit lower in the final release (looks a bit like someone did some Photoshop work there.) |

Talking about Virtual Skipper3? It IS photorealistic. Look at the more eye-candy thread to learn more and see some great pictures. Thereīs also a demo available (65MB), forgot the link but easily to be found with google. Have a look at it, itīs worth while!!!

Just played VS3! WOW! Just take away the sailboats and replace them with some nice subs - here we go Ubisoft! |

In this conditions, no other options than to remove the link to gaming-age.com and let people find Virtual Skipper 3 screenshots by themselves.

Allways gotta watch out for viruses, alot of the lesser download places dont realy check their files too carefully. The lesson is scan regularly and scan everything you download. |

Take a look at Virtual Sailor -
http://www.avsim.com/vs/
This program has open ended architecture so that it's very easy for developers to do add-ons. It's like MSFS. It has a world database, and you can add to the scenery to make it as detailed as you want. As for models, well, that can be anything from the Titanic to the Hunley.
The sea is excellent, and the whole thing is produced independantly by one. At $25 it's definitely worth buying.
If you get it, I recommend you download (free) the DAR, Britannic, Virginia 5, and the Norwegian Passenger Cargo ship, and some scenery.
