Hello, I am from the SH3 dev team, and my duty is to poll the would-be customers. I also belonged to the SH2 dev team, so I'm going to use the same form. Please answer these questions.

1. What would you like to happen on patrol?
a) Nothing, maybe encounter a trawler half the time. Sad
b) Have an unescorted enemy carrier group pop out of nowhere! Razz

2. What would you like to do under an air attack?
a) Crash dive and get a Fido to your rusty hull. :dead:
b) Fight it out with your shiny 37 millimeter automatic! Evil or Very Mad

3. What would you like to do when encountering a lone merchant?
a) Leave it alone, if it was neutral. Confused
b) Shoot your deck gun! Smile

4. How would you like to chase a convoy?
a) Get mislead by inaccurate coordinates from an AI u-boat and never catch it. :nope:
b) Just start within a visual range! Idea

5. What sort of challenge would you seek from this game?
a) Traveling at low speed to save diesel fuel. :shifty:
b) Sparing your torps to pick out the 10-thousand-tonners. :know:

6. If you would return from a patrol with no victories, what would you prefer?
a) To get no praise or decorations. Embarassed
b) To play again until you sink that Royal Oak!! Yep

7. Suppose you're at home playing SH3, and phone rings.
a) You shout "ALLAAAAARRMMM!!" and run around the house. Surprised
b) You think the phone is too realistic. Evil or Very Mad

8. How would you fight destroyers?
a) Slow down to silent running and pray. Crying or Very sad
b) Fire your torps from a 150-meter depth and sink them all, then attack the unprotected convoy! Yep

9. What is the most important feature in a subsim?
a) A dynamic campaign, I don't want to be guaranteed glorious encounters and excitement every patrol. Confused
b) Two words: torp cam. Cool

1: IF you know your convoy routes, A) doesn't necessarily mean "nothing, maybe a trawler half the time"

2: In the late war, when the Allies have advanced weapons it won't matter. Take your pick

3: both! If it is nuetral, leave it alone. This implies using the ship recognition book and visually observing to see if it is painted in neutrality markings. This would be cool.

4: Sometimes life sucks. If the AI Uboat is doing his job, he is shadowing the convoy until the pack can assemble

5: both

6: Is "patrol" an open ended patrol like SH I, or just another name for "canned mission?" A

7: I'll have my headphones on and wont hear the phone Wink

8: A

9: BOTH! Very Happy

(Sounds like you are slanting the question choices to make the more arcade approach seem better. This is probably the wrong web site to take that approach Wink )

Just got word back from Paris. Teemu, you are not with any dev team. I'm guessing this was meant as a joke so you will keep your posting privileges Mad But let's not do this again, ok?
