The developer did an error, he compiled the win32 exe as a debug build so the downloaded version will not work until you install the debug dll's of the needed libraries.

I have build my own release version from the source code.
To do this, you need the developer files of SDL lib and SDL_image lib, both can be downloaded at: http://www.libsdl.org/index.php
To run the exe, the data pack from the project website is needed!

If someone is interested for the playable version and don't want to compile it self, pm me I can send it over email (1.9MB)

Is that the latest release (0.0.13)? I had that problem with 0.0.12, but I thought it was fixed in the newer version.

To make the downloadable Win32 version run without a new compile you need the following files

from the project site:
- Win32 exe
- Data package

additional files:
- SDL_image dll's
- SDL dll's
- MSVCP60D.dll
- MSVCRTD.dll

extract all and copy it to a folder structure like this:
[dangerdeep]
- [data]
- dangerdeep.exe
- jpeg.dll
- libpng1.dll
- SDL.dll
- SDL_image.dll
- zlib.dll
- MSVCP60D.DLL
- MSVCRTD.DLL

Yeah, thanks, Seeadler! It's working here just fine now, after following your instructions.

This looks very promising indeed.

The new version 0.0.15 now uses a new ocean rendering that looks very different (better) as in the published screenshots.

Now I have compiled the last CVS release and the ocean refresh is work in all views.

The game works also with a high-detail model, it run's smooth with a new VIc sub (near 120.000 polys) Very Happy When I'm home at the weekend I'll post some screens here.

the data package is platform-independent and compressed in a tarball archive you can extract it with a good archiv manager like WinRAR
