First, let me say thanks for all you folks working toward a more perfect DW, especially Finiteless and Subguru, who has been personally very helpful to me.

It seem the current DL version of Xmods on SG's website is missing the graphics files for all the mods other than X's. The installer overwrote my graphics files and Xabba's mods look *GREAT*, but my Delta IV, Type 2xx, Collins, etc. have dissappeared completely. In the game, they are completely invisible and in the Naval Ref. I am getting a "Model Not Available."

Does anyone have the full version of the Xmods?

That's cos I removed the other models.

The on that should be there should be a correct version with the Delta and that restored to the originals.

Basically until DWX comes out best to stick with the original models.

That's what I was thinking, but I am a fan of Finiteless gameplay mods, so I thought I had to install your graphics mod pack in order to be compatible with his latest release...

My graphics files for those other subs are definately lost now... is my only option a reinstall?

I am waiting for DWX with more anticipation than most new full releases... Neutral\ Rock

Hi LuftWolf,

The realism database is updated, but unfortunately without support for this great 3-D mod.

Here:
http://ado.qgl.org/Mod_of_DW_Submarine_Sound_Levels.zip

If your original models don't appear again with this database version installed, then yes, you will need to re-install DW and re-patch to get them back again. I know for sure that the original version of XabbaRus's mod did not remove the original models and skins, not sure about the current version though, as I do not have it installed.

Hey Ramius,

The HAN and XIA have both been recently anechoic recoated and are now black in real-life, no more aqua colour on them. I saw a recent photo of a HAN and they are indeed black now.

My mod never removed any of the original models. It doesn't work that way

All you need to do to get original models back is open up DWedit and then go to the 3d objects menu and find the required subs and put them back.

I have a list of original models if you want I can post it later and tell you how to sort it out. This would obviate the need for a full reinstall.

Hi Akula, welcome to the boards, Unfortunatly i think the Xmodels are not easy to install currently. A new version bundled with DWX is in the making but wont be seen before the official patch.

(Note if i am wrong on this or someone has a 'easy way to install them please let us know Yep )
